Ma soeur s'est faite engager dans une épicerie en tant que caissière, cette épicerie vend de tout : fromage, légume, fruit, produit pour bébé...... Mais on peut y trouver de la bière, du vin, du porc, et de la lotterie.

Je me demandais si c'est halal pour elle d'être caissière.

Pour ce qui est de l'alcool c'est strictement interdit : de le fabriquer, de le transporter et de le vendre.

Et si elle s'arrangeait discrètement d'éviter de servir les clients qui achètent de l'alcool?

voici ce que dit Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah ( ra )

Q: What is the ruling regarding working in a shop that sells alcohol without having anything to do with it?
A: Any work related to the transfer, serving or selling alcohol is Haram and impermissible, in accordance with the proof that indicates absolute forbiddance, unlike the ruling of forbidding pork that could be served to the non-Muslims who are allowed to eat it. However, if man was in need for money and not working results in a great deal of hardship and suffering, and his work at the shop has nothing to do with selling alcohol, the he is allowed to work according to the following Ayah: " and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion."

س: ما رأيكم في العمل في محلٍ يباع فيه الخمر دون أن تكون له علاقة بذلك؟
ج: العمل بكلِّ ما يتصل بالخمر حرام ولا يجوز، سواء كان في نقل الخمر أو تقديمه أو بيعه، وذلك للدليل الذي دلّ على التحريم مطلقاً، وهذا بخلاف تحريم الخنـزير الذي يمكن تقديمه لمستحليه (من غير المسلمين). نعم، إذا كان الإنسان محتاجاً، وكان عدم العمل حرجاً عليه، وكان عمله في المحل بعيداً عن بيع الخمر، فيجوز له ذلك من باب {وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ مِنْ حَرَجٍ}(الحجّ:78).
