حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَکَمِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ع کَانَ یَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّهَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیمِ دَفَعَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِهَا عَنْهُ سَبْعِینَ نَوْعاً مِنَ الْبَلَاءِ أَیْسَرُهَا الْخَنْقُ.
IsnādM'a rapporté Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan, d'après Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan al-Ṣaffār, d'après Aḥmad b. Muḥammad, d'après Muḥammad b. al-Ḥakam, d'après al-Ḥusayn b. Sayf b. ʿUmayrah, d'après Hishām b. Sālim.
Il dit : J'ai entendu Abū l-Ḥasan al-Riḍā (que la paix soit sur lui) dire : « Quiconque dit : 'Il n'y a de force ni de puissance qu'en Dieu, le Très-Haut, l'Immense' (Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bi-Llāhi l-ʿAliyyi l-ʿAẓīm), Dieu, Puissant et Majestueux, repousse par cette parole soixante-dix sortes d'afflictions, dont la plus légère est la suffocation. »
