Before the Battle of the Camel, he sent Ibn Abbas to Zubayr to advise him back to obedience

When before the commencement of the Battle of Jamal Amīr al-mu’minīn sent ‘Abdullāh ibn al-‘Abbās to az-Zubayr ibn al- ‘Awwām with the purpose that he should advise him back to obedience, he said to him on that occasion:
IsnādDe la part de (عليه السلام) à Abdullah ibn Abbas (رحمه الله) :
Lorsque Abdullah ibn Abbas (رحمه الله) s'approcha de Zubayr avant le début de la bataille du Chameau pour le conseiller à se soumettre à lui.
Do not meet Ṭalḥah (ibn ‘Ubaydillah). If you meet him you will find him like an unruly bull whose horns are turned towards its ears. He rides a ferocious riding beast and says it has been tamed. But you meet az-Zubayr because he is soft-tempered. Tell him that your maternal cousin says that, “(It looks as if) in the Hijāz you knew me (accepted me), but (on coming here to) Iraq you do not know me (do not accept me). So, what has dissuaded (you) from what was shown (by you previously)?!”
IsnādCe hadith ne contient pas de chaîne de transmission clairement identifiable.
Ne rencontre pas Talha, car si tu le rencontres, tu le trouveras comme un taureau aux cornes courbées, montant des charges et disant : "Il est humilié". Mais rencontre Zubayr, car il est doux dans sa manière de te montrer l'arrière et dis-lui : "Ton neveu te dit : Tu m'as reconnu en Hijaz et tu m'as renié en Iraq, sauf ce qui a commencé."
As-Sayyid ar-Raḍī says: The last sentence of this sermon “famā ‘adā mimmā badā” has been heard only from Amīr al-mu’minīn.
IsnādLe Seigneur vénéré a dit: et c'est lui (que la paix soit sur lui) le premier à m'avoir transmis ces paroles,
je veux dire: "Ce qui est apparu n'est que ce qui a commencé".
