1. [1/-] Amali of al-Tusi: al-Mufid from Ibn Qulawayh from Muhammad al-Himyari from his father from Harun from Ibn Ziyad who said: I heard Ja’far b. Muhammad (as) – and he was asked about His words the Exalted: “to Allāh belongs the conclusive argument!” (6:149) – say: Allāh the Exalted will say to a slave on the day of judgment: My slave did you possess knowledge? So if he says: yes, He will say to him: why did you not act by what you knew? And if he says: I was ignorant, He will say to him: why did you not seek knowledge so you could act? Thus he will be vanquished – and that is the “conclusive argument”.
Isnād[-/1] Amali al-Tusi: Al-Mufid rapporte d'Ibn Qulawayh, de Muhammad al-Hamiri, de son père, de Harun, d'Ibn Ziyad, qui a dit : J'ai entendu Ja'far ibn Muhammad (que la paix soit sur eux) être interrogé au sujet de la parole d'Allah Très-Haut : "Et c'est à Allah qu'appartient la preuve évidente." Il a dit : Allah Très-Haut dira à Son serviteur le Jour de la Résurrection : "Ô Mon serviteur, as-tu eu la connaissance ?" S'il répond : "Oui", Il lui dira : "Alors pourquoi n'as-tu pas agi selon ta connaissance ?" Et s'il dit : "J'étais ignorant", Il lui dira : "N'as-tu pas cherché à apprendre pour agir en conséquence ?" Ainsi, Il le jugera selon cette preuve évidente.
