We were told by Ahmad bin Hasan al-Qattan, that he said: We were told by Abdul-Rahman bin Muhammed al-Hussaini, that he said: We were informed by Abu Ja’far, Ahmad bin Isa bin Abi Maryam al-‘Ajali, that he said: We were told by Muhammed bin Ahmad bin Abdullah bin Ziyad al-‘Azrami, that he said: We were told by Ali bin Hatim al-Manqari, of Mufaddal bin Umar, that he said: I asked Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, about the Throne and the Chair: What are they? He said: The Throne is, on one side, the totality of the creation, and the Chair is its vessel, and on the side of the last part of the Throne is the knowledge which Allah made His Prophet, Messengers and Proofs sight upon, and the Chair is the knowledge which Allah did not make anyone of His Prophets, Messengers and Proofs, peace be upon them, sight upon.

Il a dit: Le Trône est le lieu où réside l'ensemble de la création et le Piédestal est son support, et dans un autre sens, le Trône est la connaissance à laquelle Dieu a donné accès à Ses prophètes, Ses messagers et Ses preuves, et le Piédestal est la connaissance à laquelle personne parmi Ses prophètes, Ses messagers et Ses preuves n'a eu accès.
