1. We were told by Muhammed bin Musa bin Mutawakkil, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: We were told by Ali bin Hussain Sa’d-Abadi, from Ahmad bin Abi Abdillah al-Barqi, from his father, from Muhammed bin Abi ‘Umayr, from some of our companions, from Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, that he said with regards to a man who swore an oath to give an abundance of money as charity. He said: An abundance is eighty and what is above, due to the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He: «Certainly, Allah assisted you in many places» (9:25) and they were eighty places.
IsnādMuhammad ibn Musa ibn al-Mutawakkil nous a informés, qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui, a dit: Ali ibn al-Hussein al-Sa'dabadī nous a informés, d'Ahmad ibn Abi Abdullah al-Barqī, de son père, de Muhammad ibn Abi Umair, de certains de nos compagnons, de l'Imam Abu Abdullah, que la paix soit sur lui, a dit à propos d'un homme ayant fait vœu de donner en aumône une grande quantité de biens, il a dit: "La grande quantité est quatre-vingts, et il n'y a pas plus, en raison de la parole d'Allah, exalté soit-Il: "Allah vous a accordé la victoire en de nombreux endroits" et il y avait quatre-vingts endroits.
Dans ce hadith, il est enseigné qu'une grande quantité correspond à quatre-vingts, en référence à la victoire d'Allah en de nombreux endroits.
