1. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Abī Khalaf Al-Ash’ari, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Muḥammad ibn Khālid Al-Barqi, from Qāsim ibn Yaḥyā, from his grandfather Ḥasan ibn Rāshid, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Sinān, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: (One day) while Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) was sitting on the lap of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.), he raised his head and said, “O father! What is the reward for those who come to your ZIYĀRAH after your death?” The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) replied: O my son! Those who come to my Ziyārah after my death will be rewarded with Paradise; those who come to the Ziyārah of your father after his death will be rewarded with Paradise; those who come to the Ziyārah of your brother after his death will be rewarded with Paradise; and those who come to your Ziyārah after your death will be rewarded with Paradise.

My father and Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb both narrated to me from Aḥmad ibn Idrīs, from someone whose name he mentioned, from Muḥammad ibn Sinān, from Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali, who narrated that: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said (to ‘Ali (a.s.)): O ‘Ali! I guarantee those who come to my Ziyārah during my life or after my death, or come to your Ziyārah during your life or after your death, or go to the Ziyārah of your two sons during their lives or after their death, that I will save them from the terrors and difficulties of the Day of Judgment and that I will take them with me to my position.

Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb narrated to me from a group of our companions including Aḥmad ibn Idrīs and Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā, from ‘Amraki ibn ‘Ali, from Yaḥyā – who was the servant of Imam Jawād (a.s.), from some of our companions who narrated from Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: On the Day of Judgment, I will go to the Ziyārah of those who have come to my Ziyārah or the Ziyārah of anyone from my progeny and I will save them from the terrors of that day.
