3-18 Muhammad ibn al-Hassan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Muhammad ibn al-Hassan al-Saffar quoted Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Mahboob, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Sin’an, “I heard Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) say, ‘Have mercy on three people as they deserve mercy: an honorable one who has been striken with misery and is no longer honored; an affluent person who has suffered and is needy; and a scholar who is belittled by his family members and the ignorant ones.”
IsnādNous a informé Mohammad ibn Al-Hassan ibn Ahmad ibn Al-Walid (qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui) qui a dit: nous a informé Mohammad ibn Al-Hassan As-Saffar, de la part d'Ahmad ibn Mohammad ibn Issa, de la part de Al-Hassan ibn Mahboub, de la part d'Abdullah ibn Sinan, qui a dit: j'ai entendu Abu Abdullah (sur lui la paix) dire:
"Je ne montre pas de miséricorde envers trois personnes, et il est juste qu'ils soient miséricordieux: celui qui était puissant et a subi l'humiliation après la puissance, celui qui était riche et a connu le besoin après la richesse, et celui qui est savant mais est méprisé par sa famille et les ignorants."
