1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from Aban from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of one suffering from illness if it is permissible for him to wipe for Wudu’. He (the Imam) said, ’No, it is not permissible.’”
