Larmes

3. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu Najran from Muthanna al-Hannat from abu Hamza from abu la’ far (a.s.) who has said the following: “No drop is more beloved to Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, than the drop of tears in the dark night for fear of Allah, and is intended to be just for Him alone.”

"Il n'y a pas une goutte qui soit plus aimée par Allah, exalté soit-Il, qu'une goutte de larmes versée dans l'obscurité de la nuit par crainte de Dieu, et qui n'a pas pour but autre que Lui."

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mansur ibn Yunus from Salih ibn Razin and Muhammad ibn Marwan and others from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Every eye on the Day of Judgment will be weeping except three eyes: the eye that was shut closed from looking at things made unlawful by (the laws of) Allah, the eye that spends the night in awake in obedience to Allah and the eye that weeps inside the night for fear of Allah.”

Chaque œil pleurera le Jour de la Résurrection, sauf trois types d'yeux : un œil qui a évité les interdits d'Allah, un œil qui veillait dans l'obéissance à Allah, et un œil qui a pleuré dans l'obscurité de la nuit par crainte d'Allah.

5. Ibn abu ‘Umayr has narrated from Jamil ibn Darraj and Drust from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘everything has weighing and measuring tools except the tears. A drop of tear can extinguish oceans of fire. If the eye floods with tears, that face will not suffer anything or become humiliated. If the eye overflows with tears, Allah makes it forbidden for the fire to burn it and if a person weeps in a nation, that nation will receive favors.’”

Il n'y a rien qui n'ait de mesure et de poids, sauf les larmes. Car une seule goutte d'entre elles éteint des mers de feu. Lorsque l'œil est mouillé de ses larmes, son visage ne sera ni poussiéreux ni humilié. Et si les larmes coulent, Allah lui interdit le feu, même si quelqu'un pleurait dans une nation, ils seraient tous pardonnés.

6. Ibn abu ‘Umayr has narrated from a man from certain individuals of his people who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, sent revelations to Moses that said, “the most beloved of things to Me with which My servants can seek nearness to Me are three things.” Moses then asked, ‘Lord, what are they?’ The Lord said, ‘One’s reduced interest in worldly matters, restraint from sins and weeping for fear of Me.’ Moses asked, ‘Lord, what is then the reward for one who would do so?’ Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, sent him revelation that said, ‘Moses, people with reduced interest in the world will be in paradise, those weeping for fear of Me will be in a high position with whom no one else will share and those restraining from sins for their reward will have the privilege of freedom from My searching their affairs when I search all other people.’”

Moïse a demandé: "Ô Seigneur, quelles sont-elles?" Il a répondu: "Ô Moïse, le détachement des plaisirs de ce monde, la crainte de commettre des péchés et les larmes versées par crainte de Moi." Moïse a dit: "Ô Seigneur, qu'obtiendra celui qui pratique cela?" Alors Allah le Très-Haut lui a révélé: "Ô Moïse, quant à ceux qui se détachent des plaisirs de ce monde, ils seront au Paradis, et quant à ceux qui pleurent par crainte de Moi, ils seront dans les plus hauts degrés, sans qu'aucun autre ne les égale, et quant à ceux qui évitent les péchés, Je les éprouve sans les exposer."

7. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “Once I said to Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) ‘When I pray and plead before Allah for help, I like to weep but it does not come through, but if I recall members of my family who have died I may feel weeping. Is that permissible?’ The Imam said, ‘Yes, it is permissible. When you recall them and feel like weeping then pray to your Lord, the Most Blessed, the Most High.’”

Un groupe de nos compagnons de la part d'Ahmad ibn Muhammad, d'Othman ibn Isa, d'Ishaq ibn Ammar, qui a dit : J'ai demandé à Abi Abdullah (sur lui la paix) : "Si je fais une invocation et que j'ai envie de pleurer mais que les larmes ne viennent pas, et que parfois je me souviens de certains de mes proches décédés, ce qui me rend triste et me fait pleurer, est-ce permis ?" Il a répondu : "Oui, alors souviens-toi d'eux, et quand tu te sentiras ému, pleure et invoque ton Seigneur, le Béni et Très-Haut."

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from ‘Anbasah al-‘Abid who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘If you cannot weep then make a weeping-like face.’”

"Si tu ne peux pas pleurer, alors fais semblant de pleurer."

9. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from ibn Faddal from Yunus ibn Ya’qub from Sa’Id ibn Yasar Bayya’ al-Sabiri who has said the following: “Once I said to Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) ‘In my prayer I can only make a weeping-like face, but weeping does not come through.’ The Imam said, ‘Yes, even (tears) of the size of the head of a fly (are very good).”’

Je pleure dans mes invocations alors que je ne suis pas du genre à pleurer. Il a dit : "Oui, même si c'était comme la tête d'une mouche."

10. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Ali ibn abu Hamza who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said to abu Basir, ‘If you are afraid of something or need help, then begin with Allah and His glory and praise Him as He deserves. Then ask Allah’s favors for the Holy Prophet and ask for help, tiy to weep even if your tears are of the size of the head of a fly. Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) would say, ‘a servant (of Allah) in prostration and weeping is in the nearest position to Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy.’”

Si tu crains une affaire qui pourrait se produire ou si tu as un besoin, commence par invoquer Allah, Le glorifier et Le louer comme Il le mérite, ensuite envoie des bénédictions au Prophète (que la prière d'Allah et Son salut soient sur lui et sa famille), puis expose ton besoin, même s'il est aussi petit qu'une tête de mouche. Abu Abdullah (sur lui la paix) disait: "L'esclave est le plus proche de son Seigneur lorsqu'il est prosterné en pleurant."

11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mughirah from Isma’Il al-Bajilli from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “If weeping does not come through, make a weeping-like face. If of the size of the head of a fly tears come out that is your sheer good luck indeed.”

Si les larmes ne viennent pas à toi, force-toi à pleurer. Car si une quantité égale à la tête d'une mouche sort de toi, alors pleure et pleure encore.
