Supplication pour mémoriser le Saint Coran

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from those whom he has mentioned (in his book) from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan from Aban ibn Taghlib from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has, when pleading for help to memorize the Holy Quran, said that one should say, ‘O Lord, I plead before You and Your servants have never pleaded before anyone who could be like You. I plead before You through Muhammad, Your prophet, and messenger, Ibrahim, Your friend and chosen one, Moses, the party to Your conversation and whisper, Jesus, Your word and spirit, I plead before You through the books of Ibrahim, the Torah of Moses, Zabur of Dawud, Injil of Jesus, the Holy Quran of Muhammad (a.s.) and through every inspiration and revelation that You have made, determinations that You have approved, the right that You fulfilled, those whom You have made rich, the straying that You have guided, the beggars to whom You have given charity, I plead before You through Your name that You place on the night to become dark, through Your name that You place on the day to become bright, through Your name that You place on earth to settle, in the heavens to hold as pillars and in the mountains to stand firm. I plead before You through Your name with which You spread the sustenance, through Your name with which You bring the dead to life, I plead before You through the bond of majesty of Your Throne, the limits of Your mercy and kindness from Your book, I plead before You to bestow al-Salat (favors) upon Muhammad and his family, to confer upon me memorization of the Holy Quran and varieties of knowledge, to establish it firmly in my heart, my hearing, and my sight and mix it with my flesh, blood, bone marrow and make me benefit thereby in my nights and days, through Your kindness and power; there are no means and no power without You, O the Living, the Guardian.’” In another Hadith additionally it is said, “I plead before You, through Your name with which Your servants whose prayer is accepted prayed and Your prophets, then You forgave them and showed them kindness. I plead before You with everyone of Your names that You have revealed in Your books, with Your name with which Your Throne stood up in place, with Your one name, the only, the single and the sole one, the Most High that fills up all corners, the purifying, the pure, the blessing, the Holy, the Living, the Guardian, the light of the heavens and earth, the Beneficent, the Merciful, the Great, the Most High, and Your revealed book with the truth, Your perfect words. Your fill light, with Your greatness and strength.” In another Hadith the Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Whoever wants Allah to make him a container (proper follower of the guidance) of the Holy Quran and knowledge should write this supplication in a clean pot with white honey then wash it with rain water before reaching the earth and drink it for three days before breakfast, it will help him memorize the Holy Quran by the will of Allah.’”

Ô Allah, je Te demande, et les serviteurs ne demandent pas comme Tu demandes. Je Te demande par le droit de Muhammad, Ton Prophète et Ton Messager, et d'Abraham, Ton ami intime, et de Ton élu, et de Moïse, Ton interlocuteur, et de Jésus, Ta parole, et de Ton Esprit. Je Te demande par les Écritures d'Abraham, la Torah de Moïse, les Psaumes de David, l'Évangile de Jésus, et le Coran de Muhammad, que la paix soit sur lui et sa famille. Je Te demande par chaque révélation que Tu as révélée, chaque décret que Tu as établi, chaque droit que Tu as jugé, chaque nécessiteux que Tu as enrichi, chaque égaré que Tu as guidé, chaque demandeur que Tu as donné. Je Te demande par Ton nom que Tu as placé sur la nuit pour l'obscurcir, et par Ton nom que Tu as placé sur le jour pour l'illuminer, et par Ton nom que Tu as placé sur la terre pour la stabiliser, et par lequel Tu as soutenu les cieux pour les élever, et par Ton nom que Tu as placé sur les montagnes pour les ancrer, et par Ton nom par lequel Tu as réparti les provisions. Je Te demande par Ton nom par lequel Tu fais revivre les morts, et je Te demande par les piliers de la grandeur de Ton Trône et par les limites de la miséricorde de Ton Livre. Je Te demande de bénir Muhammad et la famille de Muhammad, de me donner la préservation du Coran, les différentes branches de la connaissance, de les ancrer dans mon cœur, mon ouïe, ma vue, de les mêler à ma chair, mon sang, mes os, mon cerveau, de les utiliser de jour comme de nuit, par Ta miséricorde et Ta puissance. Car il n'y a ni force ni puissance en dehors de Toi, ô Vivant, ô Subsistant. Et dans un autre hadith, il est ajouté : Je Te demande par Ton nom par lequel Tes serviteurs T'ont invoqué et auxquels Tu as répondu, par Tes prophètes auxquels Tu as pardonné et accordé Ta miséricorde. Je Te demande par chaque nom que Tu as révélé dans Tes Livres, par Ton nom qui est établi sur Ton Trône, par Ton nom unique, l'Unique, l'Impair, le Très-Haut, Celui qui remplit tous les éléments, le Pur, le Béni, le Sacré, le Vivant, le Subsistant, la Lumière des cieux et de la terre, le Tout-Miséricordieux, le Très-Miséricordieux, le Grand, le Très-Haut, par Ton Livre descendu avec la vérité, par Tes paroles parfaites, Ta lumière parfaite, par Ta grandeur et Tes piliers. Et dans un autre hadith, le Messager d'Allah, que la paix soit sur lui et sa famille, a dit : Celui qui veut que Dieu lui enseigne le Coran et la connaissance, qu'il écrive cette invocation dans un récipient propre avec du miel liquide, puis qu'il le lave avec de l'eau de pluie avant qu'il ne touche le sol, et qu'il le boive pendant trois jours à jeun, car cela le préservera, si Dieu le veut.
