La Protection spirituelle des Imams (a.s.)

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Ali ibn Asbat from Asbat ibn Salim who has said the following. “Once a man from Hayt (a town in Iraq) asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.), -when I was present also-, about the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High. “Thus, We have revealed a Spirit to you, (Muhammad), by Our command. Before, you did not even know what a Book or Faith was, . .” (42:52) The Imam (a.s.) said, “From the day Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, sent that Spirit to Muhammad (s.a.) he did not ever since ascent and he is present with us.”

Muhammad ibn Yahya a rapporté de Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, de Ali ibn Asbat, de Asbat ibn Salim, qui a dit : Un homme de la tribu de Hiṭ posa une question alors que j'étais présent, concernant la parole d'Allah, le Très Haut : "Et ainsi, Nous t'avons révélé un Esprit émanant de Notre ordre". Il répondit : Depuis qu'Allah, le Très Haut, a fait descendre cet Esprit sur Muhammad (que la paix et les bénédictions d'Allah soient sur lui et sa famille), il n'est pas monté au ciel, et il est parmi nous.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from ibn Muskan from abu Basir who has said the following. “I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High. “They ask you about the Spirit. Say, “The Spirit comes by the command of my Lord. . .” (17:85). The Imam (a.s.) said, “He is a creature greater than Jibril and Mika’il. He was with the Messenger of Allah and he is present with the Imams. He is from the realm of the angels.”

3- Ali ibn Ibrahim a rapporté de Muhammad ibn Isa, de Yunus, d'Ibn Muskan, d'Abu Basir, qui a dit : J'ai demandé à Abou Abdallah (que la paix soit sur lui) au sujet de la parole d'Allah, exalté soit-Il : "Ils t'interrogent au sujet de l'Esprit. Dis : L'Esprit relève de l'ordre de mon Seigneur." Il a dit : "Il s'agit d'une création plus grande que Gabriel et Mika'il. Il était avec le Messager d'Allah (que la prière d'Allah et Son salut soient sur lui et sa famille), et il est avec les Imams, et il appartient au Royaume céleste."

4. Ali has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from abu Ayyub al-Khazzaz from abu Basir who has said the following. “I heard abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) say, ‘“They ask you about the Spirit. Say, “The Spirit comes by the command of my Lord. . .” (17:85). The Imam (a.s.) said, “He is a creature greater than Jibril and Mika’il. He was present with anyone before except Muhammad (s.a.). He is present with the Imams (a.s.). He protects them. It is not that whatever is desired is found.”

Ali, de son père, de Ibn Abi Umair, de Abi Ayyub Al-Khazzaz, de Abi Basir, a dit : J'ai entendu Abou Abdillah (que la paix soit sur lui) dire : "On te questionne à propos de l'Esprit, dis : L'Esprit relève de l'Ordre de mon Seigneur. Il a dit : Sa création est plus grande que celle de Gabriel et de Michael. Il n'était pas avec quelqu'un parmi ceux qui ont précédé, à l'exception de Muhammad (que la prière d'Allah soit sur lui et sur sa famille), et il est avec les Imams pour les guider. Tout ce qui est demandé n'est pas trouvé."

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Imran ibn Musa from Musa ibn Ja‘far from Ali ibn Asbat from Muhammad ibn Fudayl from abu Hamzah who has said the following. “I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the knowledge. Is it a knowledge that the scholar learns from the mouths of the people or it is in the with you from which you read and then learn therefrom.” The Imam (a.s.) said, “The issue is greater and more urgently needed. Have you not heard the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, “Thus, We have revealed a Spirit to you, (Muhammad), by Our command. Before, you did not even know what a Book or Faith was, . .” (42:52)?” The The Imam (a.s.) said, “What does your people say about this verse? Do they read that he was as such that he did not know what the or the was?” I said, “I do not know, “May Allah take my soul in service for your cause, what they say.” The Imam (a.s.) then said, “Yes, he lived in a condition wherein he did not know the book and the faith untill Allah, the Most High, sent the Spirit who is mentioned in the book. When the Spirit was inspired (sent) to him he learned through him the knowledge and understanding. He is the Spirit whom Allah, the Most High grants to whoever He wants. When He grants him to a servant he teaches him understanding.”

Muhammad ibn Yahya a rapporté d'Imran ibn Moussa, de Moussa ibn Ja'far, d'Ali ibn Asbat, de Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl, d'Abu Hamza, qui a dit: "J'ai interrogé Abu Abdullah (sur lui soit la paix) au sujet de la connaissance. Est-ce une science que l'érudit apprend des bouches des hommes, ou bien est-ce un livre que vous lisez et dont vous apprenez?" Il a dit: "La situation est plus grande que cela et plus obligatoire. N'as-tu pas entendu la parole d'Allah le Puissant et Majestueux: "Ainsi, Nous t'avons révélé un Esprit émanant de Notre ordre. Tu ne savais pas ce qu'était le Livre ni la foi. Mais Nous en avons fait une lumière par laquelle Nous guidons qui Nous voulons parmi Nos serviteurs. Et en vérité, tu guides vers un chemin droit." Puis il a dit: "Que disent vos compagnons à propos de ce verset? Reconnaissent-ils qu'il était dans un état où il ne savait ni le Livre ni la foi?" J'ai dit: "Je ne sais pas, que ma vie soit sacrifiée pour toi, que disent-ils?" Il m'a répondu: "Oui, il était dans un état où il ne savait ni le Livre ni la foi, jusqu'à ce qu'Allah le Très-Haut envoie l'Esprit mentionné dans le Livre. Quand Il le lui a inspiré, Il lui a enseigné la connaissance et la compréhension. C'est l'Esprit qu'Allah le Très-Haut donne à qui Il veut. Quand Il le donne à un serviteur, Il lui enseigne la compréhension."

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Ali ibn Asbat from al-Husayn ibn abu al-‘Ala’ from Sa‘d al-Iskaf who has said the following. “Once a man came to Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (a.s.) asking him about the Spirit. “Is he not Jibril?” Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (a.s.) then said, “Jibril is of the angels. The Spirit is not Jibril. He repeated it to the man. The man said, “You have said something very much extraordinary. No one other than you thinks that the Spirit is somme one other than Jibril.” Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (a.s.) said to him, “You are mislead and narrate from the mislead people. Allah, the Most High has said to His Prophet (s.a.), ‘Allah’s help will certainly support (the believers), so pagans do not (seek) to hasten it. Allah is far Glorious and Exalted than to be considered equal to idols.” (16:1) He sends the angels with the Spirit. The Spirit is (a creature) other than the angels (a.s.).” and say He said:

6 - Muhammad ibn Yahya a rapporté de Muhammad ibn al-Hussein, de Ali ibn Asbat, de Hussein ibn Abi al-Ala, de Saad al-Askafi, qui a dit : Un homme vint voir l'Imam des croyants (que la paix soit sur lui) et lui demanda au sujet de l'Esprit, en disant : N'est-ce pas Gabriel ? L'Imam des croyants (que la paix soit sur lui) lui répondit : Gabriel est parmi les anges, et l'Esprit est autre que Gabriel. Il répéta cela à l'homme, qui lui dit : Tu as prononcé des paroles grandioses, personne ne prétend que l'Esprit est autre que Gabriel. L'Imam des croyants (que la paix soit sur lui) lui dit : Tu es égaré, tu rapportes des paroles des égarés. Allah, le Très-Haut, dit à Son Prophète (que la prière d'Allah et Son salut soient sur lui et sa famille) : L'Ordre d'Allah est venu, ne le hâtez pas. Il est transcendant, au-dessus de ce qu'ils [les associateurs] Lui associent. Il envoie les anges avec l'Esprit, et l'Esprit est autre que les anges. Que les bénédictions d'Allah soient sur eux.
